Monday 18 December marked a double celebration for Endless LLP. In addition to celebrating its first year of investment, Endless was proud sponsor to the inaugural St. Nick's Charity Awards.
Tiger Tiger played host to the sell-out event with over 300 of the region's top restructuring and turnaround advisers in attendance. Amongst the 16 awards up for grabs were Big Firm Accountants of the Year, Lawyer of the Year and the hotly contended Best Looking Male and Female awards.
The local restructuring community was asked to put forward worthy contenders for each category, before the Firmwide and 'Big Hitter' shortlists were put up to vote by the professional community. Over 1,600 votes were cast in the 12 days prior to the awards and most titles were won or lost on the strength of a few votes. Only the 5 'Important' awards were determined by the judging panel alone, in which eminent advisers presided over a panel of local legends.
A good dose of festive spirits ensured the party lasted way into the night, but the community has a different reason to wake up feeling all aglow - much more than our £5,000 target was raised and will be donated to 'Crisis', a nationwide charity helping homeless people turn their lives around. Exact figures will be confirmed shortly.
