SOLICITORS HBJ Gateley Wareing and property consultancy GVA Grimley were among those recognised at a new awards scheme celebrating the best turnaround and restructuring work.
The Midlands "Saint Nick" Turnaround Awards were organised by sector specialists Endless and held at The Jam House in Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter.
HBJ picked up two prizes by being crowned the Midlands' best mid tier law firm and Brendan McGeever shared the best lawyer prize with Andrew Jordan from Eversheds.
The latter was also named the best large law firm in the Midlands while Matthew Hammond from PwC was named turnaround professional of the year.
Last night's event was attended by over 300 people and also saw more than £6,000 raised for the Children's Heart Appeal at Birmingham Children's Hospital.
