Endless LLP expands into Ireland

Endless LLP, the buyout and turnaround fund, is launching into Ireland to serve
regional businesses. Two senior advisers, John Kernohan and Richard Gillan, have
been appointed to represent Endless in this latest expansion.
Following the business model it has deployed successfully from Leeds, Manchester
and Birmingham, Endless intends to work with companies throughout Ireland. The
initial focus will be on investing in Northern Ireland and adding value to the significant
number of medium-sized businesses that would benefit from private equity
investment and through both John and Richard, Endless will offer a locally based and
highly experienced team to deliver these opportunities. The second phase of the
expansion into Ireland will be to target the Dublin advisory and investment
community.
John Kernohan previously represented 3i on the Boards of several high-profile
portfolio companies and has experience in a wide range of investments, delivering
numerous successful investment and disposal transactions. In 2004 he returned to
Ireland and, together with Richard Gillan, undertook the MBI of a local manufacturing
company. As Joint Managing Directors, they restructured and expanded in to new
markets, leading to the enhanced equity valuation realised by a successful exit in
May 2007. Richard trained as a Chartered Accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers
prior to joining Deloitte, working in London, Luxembourg and Johannesburg offices.
He has considerable corporate finance experience, having acted in significant
acquisition, disposal and finance raising engagements.

Endless is looking for further expansion opportunities and will open an office in
London in the near future.
