The lessons behind a turnaround in fortunes of 170 year old Sheffield engineering firm DavyMarkham are being showcased as lessons in international marketing for other companies to share.
A key part of its success, according to managing director Kevin Parkin, is more effective marketing to capitalise on the business strengths during a turnaround situation.
To share the lessons and inspiration of DavyMarkham, The Chartered Institute of Marketing is hosting a presentation by Mr Parkin on 'International Marketing at DavyMarkham' on February 24, starting at 6pm followed by a factory tour.
