James joined Endless in February 2007, having previously qualified as a chartered accountant within a Big Four Firm some four years earlier. With over ten years experience in the corporate restructuring arena he finds his greatest satisfaction by working in conjunction with management teams to deliver innovative and robust business turnaround strategies which lead to long term investment growth and sustain jobs which might otherwise be lost.
Recent experience and highlights include:
Part of the transaction team that concluded the purchase of the £500m Vasanta Group in July 2009 leading the due diligence team and has subsequently been working with the management team to deliver a robust business plan and strategy.
Took on a permanent position as director of food manufacturing business Phoenix Foods in 2008 to oversee the turnaround and restructuring strategy which helped to deliver a highly profitable company in 2009.
Principal responsibility as investment director of five Endless investments and overall responsibility for monitoring portfolio performance as a whole.
Led the development of the Endless Portfolio Management Process including reporting, policies and procedures.
