Dealmakers from the Midlands corporate finance community transformed themselves into budding singers for one night only for a charity X Factor-style event in Birmingham last night.
The event was held at The Glee Club in Birmingham which raised more than £26,000 for Mencap and saw our very own Nick Leitch take the trophy as Birmingham’s 2010 Y Factor Winner! Nick managed to beat off tough competition from nine other acts.
The contestants in last night's show included:

• Kevin Joynes – Pinsent Masons
• Andy Parker – Pricewaterhouse Coopers
• Bernie Boyles, Wendy Broadbent and Liz Chew – Lloyds TSB
• Donna Mulvey-Jones, Gemma Quinton, Cat Clinton and Rachel Arundel
• Brendan McGeever and Nigel Price – HBJ Gateley Wareing
• Phil Burns – Clearwater
• Richard Edwards – Deloitte
In third place were Brendan McGeever and Nigel Price singing ‘Back in the USSR’ and coming a close second was Andy Bird of Barclays Bank singing Robbie Williams ‘Let me Entertain You’.
