A team of ten Endless staff embarks on climbing challenge for charity
Darren Forshaw, Peter Yendell, Del Huse, Mathew Deering, Aidan Robson, James Woolley, Indra Valeinis, Lindsey Lamb, Emily Bee and Laura Dixon will be climbing Ben Nevis, Snowdon and Scafell Pike, the three highest mountains in the UK, all within 24 hours, in July 2010.
All in all, in order to complete the challenge the team will have to move 100 stone of Endless people (a heavy bunch) up 3,500 metres whilst walking for 26 miles in under 24 hours!
Despite its growing popularity, no one should underestimate the difficulty of this challenge. Extensive physical and skills training are required beforehand and altitude, sleep deprivation and potential adverse weather conditions play an important part.
The team is undertaking the challenge on 16th July and they are raising funds for two very worthwhile charities: Sports Relief and the Haiti Hospital Appeal.
The Endless team have commenced their training and every weekend sees them go out for the latest lengthy stomp. The team are raring to go!
