Endless acquired Antler Limited in July 2017. Headquartered in central London with approximately 200 staff, Antler is a multi-channel British luggage brand with an unmatched heritage in British design dating back over 100 years. The business also owns the Revelation brand, which was James Bond’s luggage of choice in Ian Fleming’s first depiction of Bond - the 1953 novel, Casino Royale.
Antler holds the #2 position in the UK luggage market thanks to a reputation for high quality products at affordable prices. Alongside its retail stores and fast-growing e-commerce business, Antler has an established wholesale and international division and is also one of the most recognisable luggage brands in Australia.
Following the acquisition the business was restructured, including the appointment of Mark Hall as Executive Chairman and Ken Pratt as CFO. Since then Antler has seen an improvement in underlying earnings of almost £4 million, introduced stylish new product ranges to widespread acclaim and significantly enhanced its E-Commerce capability following investment in new product development and digital marketing.
In February 2020 Antler was sold to to ATR Holdings Limited (“ATR”), an associated company of Strandbags, Australasia’s leading luggage and accessories retailer.
Our investment was led by Manchester based Partner, Tom Jack, and Investment Director, Richard Harrison: Tom said “Antler has made fantastic progress after reorganising its underlying operations and transforming its offering, leaving it well placed for longer term scaling and growth. We’re delighted that ATR has chosen to invest in this iconic global brand and we wish the purchaser and all of Antler’s employees a highly successful future.”
