
Evolutions
In January 2021 Enact completed the acquisition of this high profile post production house to support growth.
Evolutions is the third largest independent post-production house in the UK, operating from London and Bristol and specialising in non-scripted, reality television. The business provides services that range from onsite filming support; data management and download; editing, finishing, quality control and delivery to supporting a production team "convert" their raw film content into a finished show.
Customers include most of the UK independent production community, many of which are large blue-chip companies behind recognised household shows . Recent projects and clients include:
• Channel 4 dating series ‘First Dates’ for Twenty Twenty;
• Reality series ‘TOWIE’ and ‘Celebs Go Dating’ for Lime Pictures airing on ITV Be and Channel 4;
• Nature programme ‘Countryfile’ for BBC Studios;
• Documentary television series ‘24 Hours in Police Custody’ for The Garden Productions on Channel 4;
• Race across the World’ for Studio Lambert for the BBC; and
• ‘Taskmaster’, for Avalon on Channel 4.
Enact will invest to support growth and enable Evolutions to significantly expand its premium post-production capabilities, including a brand-new suite of innovative technical solutions for remote working borne out of the production challenges caused by COVID-19. Enact will also provide investment capital to upgrade production capability to meet technical requirement of Subscription Viewing On Demand (“SVoD”) providers such as Amazon, Apple and Netflix who are driving a surge in demand for new content.
Under the terms of the new deal Jim Campbell steps into the role of Chairman. . Jim previously delivered successful Endless investment, INK, in the media space and has a background in post-production having founded DOCK-10.
