Headquartered in Harrogate, High Street TV is a multi-channel retail business operating in the UK and internationally. One of the UK’s fastest-growing companies as recognised by The Sunday Times Fast Track 100 and International Track 200.
HSTV has grown rapidly since being established in 2008 and is best known for bringing the world renowned Nutribullet to the UK market and introducing market disruptive products such as the Pressure King Pro, CleverChef, Paint Runner Pro and Squat Magic. In addition to its five television shopping channels , which bring its globally renowned and innovative licensed and own brand products direct to the consumer, the business also sells via online and print and its products are available at over 2,000 retail outlets across 35 groups, including John Lewis, Argos, Tesco, ASDA, Selfridges, Boots and Robert Dyas. Under Endless’ ownership, management are developing HSTV into a truly global multi-channel retailer with HSTV’s products now available in over 70 countries.
The management buyout in May 2015 was led by the two founding executives, Andrew Malcher and Jim Coleman whose original backing was from various private investors including Gordon Black CBE, formerly Chairman at Peter Black Holdings Ltd.
As well as knowing the management and business well through our existing Fund II minority investment, our additional in-house financial, operational and commercial due diligence helped highlight the business’ exciting growth prospects on behalf of Fund IV. Within a short period of time we were able to offer an attractive price to the incumbent shareholders, which enabled the business and management team to focus on its business plan of developing new, exciting consumer products and expanding its international reach.
