Management / Secondary Buyout

Ink is the world leader in travel media and technology, creating award-winning media and builds innovative technology to provide more than 100 differentiated products across 30 airlines and travel brands, including American Airlines, Amtrak, United Airlines, easyJet, Virgin Atlantic, Singapore Airlines, Qatar Airways and Etihad Airlines.

These unique partnerships allow more than 800 million passengers annually to interact with Ink, creating opportunities for advertisers to connect with a highly receptive global audience through inflight magazines, online, and on mobile devices.

Founded in 1994 in London, Ink has a staff of more than 300 people across five offices in London, Miami, New York, Abu Dhabi, and Singapore.

With passenger numbers set to double in size by 2034, Endless invested alongside Ink’s existing management team in March 2015 to help drive growth in both Ink’s global reach and product offering, cementing its position as market leader in travel media for the foreseeable future.

During Endless’ three year investment Ink opened new offices in Miami and Abu Dhabi, secured new partnerships with Virgin Atlantic Airways, Amtrak, Etihad Airways, Singapore Airlines and Qatar Airways and introduced its bespoke video and content portal.

In October 2018, Endless successfully exit its investment in Ink to The Stagwell Group, a US-based collective of digital-first marketing and media agencies.  The transaction generated a 7.7x return for Endless.

Francesco Santinon, partner at Endless, said: "Having been involved since our initial investment in Ink, we are delighted to have seen the transformation and growth of the business that has seen us exit to The Stagwell Group. We are incredibly proud of the work that has been done, not only visible from the new offices opened around the globe and new customers launched, but the exciting new digital products launched over the last three years, all of which have created a strong base for the business as it looks to the future.

"Michael Keating, Simon Leslie and Jim Campbell have been an excellent management team that we have greatly enjoyed working with and we wish them all the best for the future.”
