O&H Vehicle Technology is one of the leading vehicle converters in the UK. Established for over 25 years, the business specialises in Patient Transport Service (PTS) Ambulances, front line A&E Ambulances, Wheelchair Access Vehicles (WAV’s) and Welfare vehicles.

Employing over 130 people and operating from a large, well-invested facility in Goole, East Yorkshire, the company’s main customers are UK Ambulance Trusts, private ambulance operators and local councils, as well as construction, utilities and rental companies.

Endless stepped in to support the business in July 2016 when O&H had faced a period of low activity levels and required a change in stakeholder. With two flagship contracts to be delivered to major ambulance trusts, Endless recognised that O&H was a business that was in need of some short term financial and operational support and was capable of delivering vastly improved financial performance. Endless transacted quickly to deliver certainty to the business and its customers.

Following investment, we introduced Oliver North (MD) and David Grey (Chairman) to the business who led a wide-ranging performance improvement project, which also started a transformation in delivery across the range of services that O&H provides.

In August 2019, we completed the sale of the business via a management buyout to Oliver, with the support of local entrepreneur Ken Davy.

“O&H Vehicle Technology now has a foundation to stride forward as the standard bearer of UK emergency vehicle manufacturing. I would also like to thank Endless for their support – without their dedication we wouldn’t have the foundation we have today on which we can build as we take the business forward.”

Oliver North, Managing Director, O&H Vehicle Technologies

“We invested into O&H at a time that nobody else would; the business urgently needed our support and we set about rescuing a great brand in UK manufacturing, protecting employment and making O&H fit for its future development. It is now time for the management team, with the support of the new shareholders, to take O&H on to an even greater success. I would like to thank Oliver and the rest of the team for their commitment to making O&H what it is today and wish them every success for the future.”
