Global marketing communications outsourcing business, Adare International, part of Adare Group, has been named as a winner of the 2016 Queen’s Award for Enterprise – the UK’s highest accolade for business success. The award for International Trade recognises the company’s strong and continuous growth in international markets over the last six years.

Since 2009, Hampshire-based Adare International has evolved from a UK print management company into a full service, global marketing communications outsourcing business. During this time, it has developed a robust infrastructure across Europe, North America, Latin America and Asia Pacific creating 230 new jobs in the process, and expanding its service portfolio to encompass all areas of marketing communications.

Robert Whiteside, chief executive, Adare Group, said: “The Queen’s Award is one of the most prestigious accolades that a business can be awarded and we are delighted that Adare International has been recognised for its successful expansion into international markets.”

Adare International has doubled in size over the past four years, with most of this growth generated by overseas sales. This area has grown rapidly since 2010 (an increase of 990%) and now constitutes around 50% of the company’s turnover. During this time, it has also extended its service portfolio and now delivers specialist marketing execution services to over 50 of the world’s most dynamic and recognisable businesses such as Coca-Cola, Pfizer and Heineken. As a global business operating in multiple markets, Adare International takes Corporate and Social Responsibility extremely seriously. The company is not only Ecovadis certificated but also a proud member of the Global Compact Alliance.

Steve Ueckermann, managing director, Adare International, said: “This award is a result of the dedication, expertise and flexibility of our teams, both here in the UK, and overseas. Working together, we have established Adare International in every major global market and we are looking forward to further global expansion.”

“In 2011, we identified an opportunity to develop a unique marketing services proposition for the global market and since then, our teams have worked incredibly hard to build a robust, sustainable, international business with staff in over 30 countries worldwide”.

Adare International’s success is built on a true partnership between its UK and international teams. Working collaboratively with clients and suppliers, the company harnessed the best practice processes from its UK operation, and coupled this with local expertise, a clear understanding of our clients’ objectives and a responsible approach to working in multiple markets, to ensure successful service delivery in over 40 countries around the world.
