Endless partners with England Rugby Legend Jason Robinson to support children at Leeds primary school
As part of our ongoing commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility, we recently partnered with England Rugby Legend and World Cup winner Jason Robinson, to sponsor the delivery of the JR Sports Stars programme to children at Cottingley Primary Academy.
Having grown up near the school, Jason went on to have an incredible domestic and international career in both Rugby League and Rugby Union, gaining over 50 caps for the England Rugby Union team and to date, remains the only Englishman to score a try in a Rugby Union World Cup Final.
Jason now sees his role as an inspirational mentor for young people, and has created the JR Sports Stars programme to do just that. He believes that young people need to be inspired and motivated to get involved with sport for their personal development and the benefit of their health – physically, emotionally and socially. Through the 4 core values of social interaction, physical health, boosting confidence and leadership skills, Jason is working with schools to support the health and wellbeing of local children.
Matthew Jubb, Endless LLP Partner in our Leeds office recently attended a session at Cottingley with Jason. He commented “We’re delighted to be working with Jason to deliver his programme in the Leeds area. All the kids looked like they really enjoyed the session and it was brilliant to witness first-hand the work that Jason delivers. We hope that the new skills the children have learned through with the inspirational work of the JR Sports Stars team, together with the new sporting equipment the school now has use of, will have a lasting legacy for the school, its students and the wider community”
