Imtech Maximising Delivery for Amazon
Imtech have recently commenced work at the new state-of-the-art 1,100,000 sq ft Amazon Fulfilment Centre in Doncaster, having been awarded the £10.3m mechanical and electrical installation project by new client, Buckingham Group Contracting Limited.
To ensure the defined phases of the project are delivered on time, enable early access for the Client and with a requirement for the facility to be fully operational by autumn 2017, the Imtech team are maximising the use of off-site pre-fabricated solutions. These include packaged plantrooms and modularised M&E installations for office areas, packaged external chilled water pump housings including power and lighting and modular air handling units with fully integrated controls. The facility is also on target to achieve a BREEAM rating of Very Good.
